turner hall ballroom
where: 1040 n. 4th st.
phone: (414) 272-1733
the ambiance of the turner hall ballroom makes it a great space for live music. the historic ballroom with wrap-around balcony was largely unused for about 70 years, and the space, though undergoing renovation, definitely retains a sort of haunted charm. this venue is where you'll go to see cutting edge performances: think indie rock bands, films, burlesque or wrestling shows, etc.
